We are committed to maintaining the highest level of security and confidentiality for all client documents and information.

I. Confidentiality Commitment

  1. Strict Non-Disclosure: In compliance with Intellectual Property Rights and Data Privacy Laws, Fuda Translation will never disclose or transmit the content of your entrusted documents to any unauthorized individuals outside of the necessary translation and operational team.
  2. Mandatory Translator NDA: All in-house staff, contract employees, and freelance translators are strictly bound by a comprehensive Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) to ensure absolute confidentiality for every project they handle.
  3. Client-Specific Agreements: Clients may request to execute a separate, project-specific Confidentiality Agreement (NDA) with our company to further safeguard their proprietary interests.

II. Advanced Data Security Measures

  1. Secure Transmission: Our website and data transfer portal utilize SSL/HTTPS encryption to ensure that all data transmitted between your device and our servers is fully protected from interception.
  2. Restricted Access Control: Access to client files is granted only on a strict “need-to-know” basis. Only the project manager, the assigned translator(s), and the editor/proofreader directly involved in the project will have access to the source and target files.
  3. Secure Storage Platform: All documents are stored on a secure, controlled-access platform with robust firewall protection and regular security audits to prevent unauthorized access or hacking attempts.
  4. Compliance: We adhere to globally recognized information security standards, such as those covered by ISO 27001 (Information Security Management) principles, and comply with international data privacy regulations, including GDPR, where applicable.

III. Data Retention and Destruction

  1. Document Deletion Post-Completion: Upon project completion and final payment, both the source document and the translated file will be securely deleted from our translation management system and translator workstations within [Specify a Timeframe, e.g., 90 days].
  2. No Paper Record Retention: Original physical documents, if submitted, will be returned to the client upon project completion. We do not retain any physical copies or printouts of the client’s source or translated materials.
